This test checks for the most common sexually transmitted infections: Chlamydia, and Gonorrhoea ("Tripper").

Chlamydia
Chlamydia is one of the most common bacterial STIs and is transmitted through sexual contact. Many infections cause no symptoms and can therefore remain undetected. When symptoms occur, they can include pain when urinating or unusual discharge. If left untreated, chlamydia can cause complications and may affect fertility. Chlamydia can be treated with antibiotics.

Gonorrhoea ("Tripper")
Gonorrhoea is a common bacterial STI transmitted through sexual contact. It can cause symptoms such as pain when urinating or unusual discharge, but infections can also occur without noticeable symptoms. Without treatment, gonorrhoea can cause complications and may affect fertility. Gonorrhoea is treated with antibiotics.

For this test, you’ll collect a urine sample. No medical experience is needed.

Detailed instructions will guide you through every step:

1. Urinate into a clean cup.
2. Place the tip of the collection tube into the urine and pull back the plunger to draw up the required amount.
3. Remove the tip from the urine and close it securely with the included cap.

Simply place your sample in the return box included with your test kit and drop it off at any Swiss Post mailbox or post office. No additional stamp is required – the return box is prepaid and already has the postage printed on it.

Your sample is analysed by one of our laboratory partners Medisyn, Bioanalytica or MCL / Dr. Risch, which are part of Sonic Suisse, Switzerland’s largest laboratory group.

Your results are generally available online 2-3 working days after you have sent your sample to the lab for analysis.

Your results will be available online 2–3 working days after sending in your sample.

They include:

• Official laboratory report available to download

If you test positive, your test results will include clear guidelines on what to do next. As part of your results, you will also receive an official laboratory report from our accredited laboratory partner. Accordingly, laboratory reports are recognized by physicians in Switzerland and can serve as a basis for treatment. Soon, you will also be able to immediately access treatment through our platform, no doctor's visit needed.

Yes. At-home sample collection for STD testing is a well-established method that has been used by public healthcare systems in countries such as the UK and Sweden for many years.

The only difference to a test at a doctor’s office is where your sample is collected. Instead of having your sample taken at a doctor's office, you collect it yourself at home using specialised collection kits and send it to the laboratory for analysis.

Your sample is then analysed by Switzerland’s largest laboratory group using state-of-the-art methods such as PCR testing. The laboratory is ISO certified and follows the same analysis process as for samples collected at a medical practice.

No, this is not the ideal test for men who have sex with men. This test only checks for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea in your penis. If you primarily receive anal sex and give oral sex, you should also take an anal and oral swab to test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea infections in those areas. We are always working on expanding our services, so keep an eye open for a dedicated check for this!
