These biomarkers and your responses to a short questionnaire about your health history, lifestyle and personal background are then used to calculate your Wellbeing Scores.

For this test, you’ll collect a small blood sample from your upper arm using a certified blood collection device. No medical experience is needed and the process is pain free.

Detailed video instructions will guide you through every step:

1. Attach the device to your upper arm.
2. Press the button and wait a few minutes while it automatically collects a small amount of blood into the attached tube.
3. Once the tube is filled, remove the device from your arm.

The process is completely pain-free.

Simply place your sample in the return box included with your test kit and drop it off at any Swiss Post mailbox or post office. No additional stamp is required – the return box is prepaid and already has the postage printed on it.

Your sample is analysed by one of our laboratory partners Medisyn, Bioanalytica or MCL / Dr. Risch, which are part of Sonic Suisse, Switzerland’s largest laboratory group.

Your results are generally available online 2-3 working days after you have sent your sample to the lab for analysis.

You receive an interactive 10-year wellbeing report designed to help you understand where you are heading and what you can influence.

Your report includes:

• 4 Wellbeing Scores for your cardiovascular, cognitive, renal and respiratory wellbeing
• A clear view of your wellbeing trajectory, highlighting which areas look supportive and which deserve more attention
• The drivers behind your scores, so you can understand which biomarkers and other factors are influencing your current trajectory
• Priority actions to improve your trajectory, focused on the changes that are most relevant to your results

Rather than giving you another set of numbers, the report connects your results to what they mean for your longer-term wellbeing and what you can do next.

Your blood results and questionnaire responses about your health history and lifestyle are analysed together using proprietary models developed by our partner Idunox.

The models were developed and tested using long-term research data from the largest UK Biobank, which includes around 500,000 participants. Instead of looking at each biomarker in isolation, the models analyse patterns across your complete profile and how similar profiles developed over time in the research data.

This gives you a forward-looking view of your wellbeing across four key areas — rather than just showing where individual biomarkers sit today.

A regular check-up primarily gives you a snapshot of today: your individual biomarkers and whether they fall within defined reference ranges.

The Longevity Check goes one step further. It combines your biomarkers with information about you to provide a forward-looking view of your wellbeing trajectory.

The analyses included in this test are the same laboratory analyses also offered through doctors' offices by our laboratory partners. The main difference is simply where your sample is collected: at home instead of at the doctor's office.
