Are you pregnant? Or your girlfriend, wife, partner, ...? A sexually transmitted disease may impact your unborn child as well as risk the health of the mother. Make sure that the gynecologist checks the pregnant mother for STD's, especially Chlamydia, Hepatitis B, HIV and Syphilis.

Not pregnant yet, but wanting a baby? Women should be free from STD's well before the pregnancy to minimise risk for mother and the unborn child. Whether you are the mother-to-be or her partner-and-future-father, it is important that both of you test beforehand.

We don't offer tests for Hepatitis B, HIV or Syphilis. If you need such tests, contact the gynaecologist or find a counsellor through Love Life.
